Clean the document feeder pickup rollers and separation pad if the document feeder does not correctly pick up pages.

Click the Play arrow below for instructions on cleaning the document feeder pickup rollers and separation pad.

  1. Turn off the product.
  2. Lift the document-feeder latch.
  3. Open the document-feeder cover.
  4. Remove any visible lint or dust from each of the feed rollers and the separation pad using compressed air or a clean lint-free cloth moistened with warm water.

    NOTE: Lift up the roller assembly to clean the second roller.

  5. Close the document-feeder cover.
  6. Turn on the product.
