Use the following procedure to clear jams in the envelope feeder. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays an animation that assists in clearing the jam.
Remove any envelopes that are loaded in the envelope feeder. Lower the envelope weight and lift the tray extension up, to the closed position.
Grasp both sides of the envelope feeder and carefully pull it out of the product.
Slowly remove any jammed envelopes from the envelope feeder.
Slowly remove any jammed envelopes from the product.
Install the envelope feeder.
