Use the following procedure to check for paper in all possible jam locations in the automatic duplexer. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays an animation that assists in clearing the jam.

  1. Lift the duplexer up and then pull it out to remove it.

    Remove the duplexer

  2. Remove any paper that is on top of Tray 2. (It might be necessary to reach inside the product.)

    Remove the jammed paper

  3. Slowly pull any paper out of the duplexer.

    Remove the jammed paper

  4. Insert the duplexer into the product.

    Install the duplexer
