  1. Open the cartridge door.

  2. Push the old cartridge inward to unlock it.

  3. Grasp the edge of the old cartridge and then pull the cartridge straight out to remove it.

  4. Unpack the replacement part from the packaging.

    NOTE:

    HP recommends responsible disposal of the defective part.

  5. Insert the new cartridge into the printer. Make sure the cartridge is firmly in place.

  6. Close the cartridge door.
