The video shows how to clear a jam from Tray 1 of a HP LaserJet M806. The process is the same for a HP LaserJet flow MFP M830

  1. If jammed paper is visible in Tray 1, clear the jam by pressing the jam release button under the tray and gently pulling the paper straight out.
  2. If you cannot remove the paper, or if no jammed paper is visible in Tray 1, open the right door.
  3. If jammed paper is in the Tray 1 feed area, lift the jam access cover and remove the paper.
  4. Pull the jam-access cover lever out, and then lift it to open it.
  5. Gently pull the paper out of the pickup area.
