The product has four toner cartridges. The procedure for replacing all toner cartridges is the same. Toner cartridges are mandatory CSR parts.

NOTE:

It is possible to install each of the color toner cartridges into any cartridge slot. It is important to make sure that the color label on the cartridge matches the color label on the cartridge slot before installing the toner cartridge.



Installing a toner cartridge in the incorrect slot does not damage the product. The product recognizes a toner cartridge is in the incorrect slot and displays a message on the control panel to alert the user.


The black toner cartridge only fits in the black toner cartridge slot.

  1. Open the front door by grasping the handle in the upper-left corner of the door and pulling. The door folds down.
  2. Grasp the handle of the toner cartridge and pull out to remove it.
  3. Remove the new toner cartridge from the packaging.
  4. Hold both ends of the toner cartridge, and rock it five to six times.
  5. Remove the protective shield from the toner cartridge.
  6. Align the toner cartridge with the proper slot, and then insert the toner cartridge into the product.
  7. Close the front door.
  8. Place the used cartridge in the packaging, and then recycle to toner cartridges using the instructions provided in the package.
